Agreement
By using goodfield.studio ("the Site"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Site. That's the whole deal. This is an informational site, so the terms are short.
Who we are
The Site is operated by Goodfield Studio ("we", "us"), an independent technical studio based in South Australia. Contact: hello@goodfield.studio.
What this Site is
The Site presents the studio, what it does, and its software products. Content is provided for general information only. Nothing here is professional, legal, financial, or technical advice, and nothing here is a binding offer of services.
Our apps are separate products
Each app we build (see our apps) is a distinct product with its own terms, licenses, and privacy policies, presented on its own site and in the app stores where you obtain it. Downloading or purchasing an app is governed by those terms and the relevant store's terms, not by these Site terms. Links from this Site to an app's site are provided for convenience.
Chat assistant
The Goodfield Assistant chat widget is AI-generated and provided for general information only — it can be wrong, and nothing it says is professional advice or a binding offer of services. Don't submit sensitive personal, financial, or confidential information through it. See our Privacy Policy for how a chat conversation is handled.
Enquiries and the contact form
If you use the Site's contact form, you agree to submit accurate information and to use it for genuine enquiries only — not for spam, harassment, or unlawful content. Submissions may be automatically screened for spam before they reach us. Sending an enquiry doesn't create any contract or engagement between us; that only happens if we separately agree to it.
Intellectual property
The Site's content — text, design, and the Goodfield Studio name and wordmark, plus the names of the apps we build — belongs to Goodfield Studio. You may view, link to, and share the Site freely; you may not copy its content for commercial use or pass it off as your own without permission.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the Site, misrepresent an affiliation with us, or use the Site's content, contact form, or our contact address for spam or unlawful purposes.
Third-party services
The Site is hosted on Cloudflare, and the contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a spam-prevention check. Their availability and practices are governed by their own terms, not these. If we add other third-party services in future (for example, an online meeting scheduler), this page will be updated to describe them.
Third-party links
The Site links to external sites (including our own apps' sites, hosted separately). We're not responsible for third-party content or practices; visiting them is at your own discretion.
No warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." We aim to keep it accurate and online but make no guarantees about availability, completeness, or freedom from errors.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Goodfield Studio isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) this informational Site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes
We may update the Site and these terms at any time; the current version is always at this URL with its effective date. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, and the courts of South Australia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
